Groundswell believes that people need accessible information to make informed choices. When it comes to new insights and solutions, the first and most important group to share them with are people who are currently experiencing homelessness.
Guides, Reports and other Initiatives
Groundswell’s Action Updates share the insight our Peer Advocates have gathered through working with homeless people across London.
Each Action Update highlights a topic and offers practical advice targeted at people who are currently using homelessness services. They are designed to be printed on a standard A4 page and then folded down to booklet size (A6), so please print them out and pass them on. This month our Action Update looks at the different health services available to people experiencing homelessness. Visiting A&E is often the first port of call for homeless people, but it’s important for them to become aware of their rights, and the variety options available when it comes to healthcare. The Action Update includes a flow chart which will help people identify which option is right for them, depending on their health needs.
