Caseworker
May joined Groundswell in September 2024 as a caseworker in Westminster. Her mission is to support people who are experiencing homelessness and have a severe mental illness so they can attend their health check appointments.
She was previously an outreach drug worker and spent time researching people who use drugs’ experiences of kidney care in London for her Masters course. These experiences bolstered her commitment to improving access to health care among marginalised populations. She is therefore looking forward to engaging with clients in a way that allows them to better address their health needs and concerns.
