Progression Manager
Pat previously worked with Thames Reach, predominantly in their Employment & Resettlement Team where she helped clients move on with their lives by offering information, advice and guidance, supported them with CV’s and to apply for jobs. She is also a CIPD Qualified Trainer and HR specialist.
As a Progression Manager, no day is the same. Pat can be supporting a volunteer to apply for a job or a course, drafting their CV or accompanying and advocating on their behalf at appointments e.g. welfare benefits, health related, housing and immigration matters – the list is endless. Ultimately Pat’s role is to support our amazing peers by helping them overcome the barriers they may face that is preventing them to volunteer with Groundswell, as well as to help them move forward by offering coaching and the opportunity to discuss the best way forward. Pat says ‘I absolutely love being part of the Groundswell team, it is a privilege to support our peers and it is such an inspiring place to be’.
