We have an exciting opportunity for people up for a challenge and ready to fundraise for Groundswell. We have eight places in the 2020 Big Half (13.1 miles) on Sunday 1st March starting at Tower Bridge and finishing at the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich (the race runs through the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Southwark and Greenwich). The first two Big Half events were won by the one and only Sir Mo Farah – it’s set to become as famous (but half the distance) of the London marathon. Find out more.

We’d love you to join ‘team Groundswell’. It’s not a race but 13.1miles is certainly a big personal challenge, you will be provided with training guidance and tips.

We’re asking you to make a donation of £30 to secure your place and to make a commitment to try and fundraise £400. We encourage people to fundraise using Virgin Money Giving. We’ll be with you every step of the way to help you with fundraising and will happily support you in setting up the page. You’ll also be given a Groundswell running top so you can feel like a real pro on the day!
