Are you homeless and need help?
At Groundswell we provide support for people to make and attend health appointments in London and have volunteering opportunities specifically for people who have experience of homelessness.
To find out about getting support to attend health appointments visit our Homeless Health Peer Advocacy page.

Temporary accommodation and day centres
Homeless Link run a database of accommodation and other support services. You can search for what is available in your local area.
The Pavement magazine also has a list of day centres, accommodation and other services. You can view digital copies of the magazine here.
Many hostels and shelters only give beds to people who have been referred to them by other services. Read this advice from Shelter if you are in England on how to get into a hostel or a night shelter.
The Escape Plan
Groundswell created the Escape Plan, a booklet which captured the wisdom of many people who had previously been homeless and managed move on. It does not give you the answers, but it tries to ask you the right questions to help you work out your own way to move out of homelessness.
