Seizure training The HHCP’s brilliant trainee GP ran a training session for staff on seizures. The training was recorded and covers the following:

1. 1. Learn about different types and causes of seizures
   2. Increase your confidence in managing alcohol related and drug related seizures
   3. Gain an understanding about what to do before, during and after a seizure
   4. Learn how to recognise when a seizure is an emergency
   5. Discuss how to prevent seizures including medication and detox
